The future of our community depends on the next generation of public service leaders. The Cleveland Public Service Fellowship offers emerging leaders from across the country the skills and networks needed to jumpstart a career in public service and create the community they envision. Now through Feb. 22, we’re accepting applications for the 2017-18 Cleveland Public Service Fellowship!

The fellowship, which is open to college graduates who earned their undergraduate degrees between spring 2015 and spring 2017, includes a 12-month, full-time paid placement at a selected public sector agency in Cleveland, providing meaningful career-related work experience along with a $30,000 salary and health benefits. Meet our 2016-17 fellowship cohort here.

Members of our 2016-17 fellowship cohort enjoy a trolley tour of Cleveland neighborhoods.

Fellows benefit from participation in regular public sector professional development programs administered by Cleveland State University, as well as individualized coaching, supervision and support in a small cohort. Throughout their year-long placement, fellows are immersed in the rich civic and cultural life of Cleveland, with first-hand opportunities to network and connect with a diverse array of emerging and senior leaders and organizations. We blogged about one of the professional development sessions earlier this year – get a behind-the-scenes look here.
