The Power of Philanthropy Summit is the Cleveland Foundation’s biennial gathering dedicated to advancing Black philanthropy, leadership, and community impact. Hosted by the Black Philanthropy Center (formerly the African American Philanthropy Committee), the Summit brings together donors, nonprofit leaders, corporate partners, and community members to explore how philanthropy can build wealth, expand opportunity, and strengthen the well-being of Black communities.
Rooted in the rich legacy of Black giving, the Summit is designed to move participants from inspiration to action. Through dynamic keynote conversations, expert-led breakout sessions, and interactive experiences, attendees will learn how to connect their values to meaningful, measurable impact across three focus areas: opportunity access, economic investment and wealth building, and physical and mental health.
The 2026 Summit will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights, with a virtual option available for participants from around the country and around the world.
