Friends of African American Philanthropy Committee
The Friends of AAPC fosters philanthropy within the African American community by bringing together individuals with a shared passion for giving.
As a charitable fund option at the Cleveland Foundation, Friends of AAPC is designed to cultivate relationships with philanthropists, encouraging them to establish donor advised funds and become lifelong supporters of charitable causes.
Establishing a Donor Advised Fund
Friends of AAPC may open an introductory fund that allows them to build up their fund balance, with the goal of reaching the $10,000 threshold within one year, to establish a donor advised fund.
