Effective April 1, Cathy O'Malley Kearney's three-year appointment marks a meaningful milestone: the first woman to chair the bank trustees in the foundation's 112‑year history.

The bank trustees committee is comprised of senior executives appointed by the foundation's trustee banks: KeyBank, PNC Bank and Huntington National Bank. The committee oversees the foundation’s core banking relationships and is responsible for appointing five members to the foundation’s board of directors.

O'Malley Kearney is the executive vice president and national head of Key Private Bank. In her role, she leads the strategic direction, growth and performance of the private banking business. She is also a member of KeyCorp’s Executive Council.

Cathy is active in the community serving on the national investment committee of the American Heart Association. She also serves on the board of directors of the St. Luke’s Foundation as well as St. Joseph Academy. Cathy has been recognized as a Woman of Professional Excellence by the YWCA.

The foundation acknowledges Sean Richardson, president of Huntington Bank's Northeast Ohio region and current committee chair, for his leadership and continued service as well as Pat Pastore, regional president, PNC Bank, for his ongoing service on the committee.
