The MidTown Collaboration Center has officially been named the Warren E. Anderson MidTown Collaboration Center, recognizing Warren Anderson, president and CEO of The Anderson-DuBose Company, for his generous philanthropic investment and long-standing commitment to innovation, opportunity and community in Greater Cleveland.

A MODEL FOR COMMUNITY-CENTERED COLLABORATION

Since opening nearly a year ago, the MidTown Collaboration Center, now the Warren E. Anderson MidTown Collaboration Center (MCC), has become a powerful example of what is possible when spaces are designed with community in mind. Created as civic infrastructure, the MCC was built to bring nonprofit, civic, philanthropic and community partners together in one place, where ideas, people and resources come together in service of Cleveland’s future.

The MCC was intentionally designed as a place where collaboration happens openly and innovation happens with community, not behind closed doors. It has quickly become a hub for shared problem-solving, partnership and connection — not only for the organizations based there, but also for the residents and visitors who gather in the space.

“This model for community collaboration and innovation is working,” said Lillian Kuri, president and CEO of the Cleveland Foundation. “The MidTown Collaboration Center was built to bring people together across sectors and around shared goals, and it continues to show what’s possible when place-based investment is aligned with purpose.”

LEADERSHIP ROOTED IN PEOPLE AND COMMUNITY

The naming reflects the kind of leadership the MCC was built to represent — leadership rooted in responsibility, vision and a deep commitment to people and community.

As president and CEO of The Anderson-DuBose Company, Warren has led a successful business built on innovation, growth and service. He is also a respected civic leader whose philanthropy and board service have helped strengthen institutions across Greater Cleveland.

Warren has made it a priority throughout his career to invest in people and give back to the communities his company serves. That spirit is reflected throughout the MCC and makes this a fitting recognition of his legacy and impact.

“If you ask people what Warren is known for, it’s how much he values people,” said Kuri. “He has made it a point throughout his career to invest in people and to ensure that both he and his company are giving back to the communities they serve. That makes the MCC a powerful place to elevate his name and work.”

BUILDING WHAT COMES NEXT

The MCC continues to serve as a dynamic space where nonprofit, civic and philanthropic partners work side by side to move Cleveland forward through shared ideas and collective problem-solving. It also serves as a welcoming destination for residents and visitors, with spaces that foster connection, creativity and community.

The Warren E. Anderson MidTown Collaboration Center stands as a reflection of the momentum already underway in MidTown and Hough and the partnerships helping shape what comes next. It is both a recognition of transformational leadership and a signal of the kind of future Cleveland is building together.
