The Cleveland Foundation’s vision is to create a vibrant Northeast Ohio where no Clevelander is left behind. Each quarter, our board and staff approve grants across Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties that combine long-term investments in the systems and opportunities that will strengthen our region for years to come with immediate support for the critical needs of our neighbors today.

The Cleveland Foundation board and staff granted more than $13 million to nonprofits serving Greater Cleveland in Q3.

“This quarter, our grantmaking centered on the foundations that help individuals, families and neighborhoods thrive - from making investments in housing in Hough and Buckeye to community safety support and prevention,” said Joyce Pan Huang, Chief Impact Officer, Cleveland Foundation. “Additionally, grants spanning early childhood, K-12 success, postsecondary attainment, workforce preparation and community leadership reflect our strong belief that increasing incomes across our city requires improving opportunities across the entire talent continuum.”

Additionally, in Lake and Geauga counties, grants to the Lake Development Authority and Geauga Growth Partnership are helping each county build stronger economic development capacity.

Below is the foundation’s Q3 2026 grantmaking, organized by impact area.
