The Cleveland Foundation officially unveiled Warren E. Anderson’s name on the Warren E. Anderson MidTown Collaboration Center (MCC) on Oct. 7, joining business, civic, philanthropic and community leaders to celebrate a transformative investment from Anderson and his longstanding commitment to people, opportunity and community across Greater Cleveland.

The unveiling follows the foundation’s April 2026 announcement that the MidTown Collaboration Center would be named in honor of Anderson, CEO of The Anderson-DuBose Company, one of the country’s largest Black-owned food distribution businesses and a McDonald’s supplier for more than three decades. The naming recognizes Anderson’s philanthropic investment in the MidTown Collaboration Center and his legacy of leadership centered around investing in people and strengthening the communities his company serves.

"Having Warren's name atop this building marks a powerful moment for this first-of-its-kind innovation center that will inspire generations to come."  said Lillian Kuri, President and CEO of The Cleveland Foundation. "The Warren E. Anderson Midtown Collaboration Center is a beacon of hope for this community and for our city."

Since opening in 2025, the center has become a powerful example of what is possible when spaces are designed with community in mind. Created as civic infrastructure, the MCC is a dynamic space where nonprofit, health care, philanthropic and community partners work side by side, and ideas, people and resources come together in service of Cleveland’s future. The MCC is fully leased as of August 2026, when the NEOMED-University Hospitals Cleveland Health Innovation Center opened.

The unveiling reflects the spirit of the MCC and the values Warren has championed throughout his career. As CEO of The Anderson-DuBose Company and a respected civic leader across Greater Cleveland, Warren has built a legacy defined by innovation, growth and giving back to the communities he serves.

“A throughline of Warren’s life is an understanding that lasting impact is only possible when you invest in the people and places who make it happen,” said Kuri. “It is incredibly fitting that his name will now welcome Clevelanders into a space built around those same values; bringing people together, building connections and creating new possibilities for the entire community.”

The Warren E. Anderson MidTown Collaboration Center is an embodiment of the momentum already underway in MidTown and Hough and the partnerships helping shape the future. A destination for residents and visitors, it signifies transformational leadership and the kind of future Cleveland is building together.
