More About the Women of Note Summit & Awards: The Women’s Caucus

In addition to celebrating the 2016 Women of Note award winners (see the list of winners here!), you can also expect new programming, voices and opportunities to connect.

This year’s event is a “Women’s Caucus” because it’s undeniably one of the largest gatherings of female leaders in our community from a broad range of industries. Through interactive table discussion and audience polling, attendees will caucus on a number of important career and life topics identified by Women of Note alumnae and friends.

We are also pleased to incorporate local nonprofits as part of the Greater Cleveland Purpose Expo. This is a chance for attendees to connect with game-changing organizations in our region and lend their passions to enhance the lives of all Greater Clevelanders. Think of it as purposeful networking!

Why We’re Involved

The Cleveland Foundation is all about enhancing the lives of Greater Clevelanders across Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties, and so a big priority for us is ensuring that women can find the support they need to make Greater Cleveland a better place to live.

In our 102 years of grantmaking, the Cleveland Foundation has supported women in this community, from ensuring vital social services for women in need, to scholarships, job training, and access to microloans for female entrepreneurs.

This year’s Women of Note Awards will also feature a new Cleveland Foundation Women of Note Legacy Award, presented to Jacqueline F. Woods, for her work turning passion into purpose for generations of women.
