A statement from Cleveland Foundation President & CEO Ronn Richard:
The Cleveland Foundation condemns, in the strongest of terms, the recent spate of racist, violent attacks and murders of innocent African Americans and other persons of color. Our hearts go out to all of the victims and their families and to everyone in our country who has to fear each day for their own safety as well as the safety of their children and loved ones. Now more than ever, we must all come together to end the inequities in our society once and for all. We support the citizens of Cleveland as they continue to peacefully express their first amendment rights and avoid violence during this tragic period. We pledge to keep fighting for social justice and to make equity a cornerstone of all of our efforts.
