FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art is just a few months away! The inaugural edition of FRONT, titled An American City and comprised of artist commissions, performances, films and public performances, will take place July 14 – Sept. 30. In collaboration with museums, civic institutions and other spaces around Northeast Ohio, FRONT will showcase the work of local, national and international artists and examine the ever-changing conditions of an American city.

Through our Creative Fusion international artist residency program, we’re proud to support the Madison Residencies at FRONT, a cohort of 6 local, 6 national and 6 international artists who have been living and working in Northeast Ohio as they prepare for this summer’s exhibition. The Spring 2018 edition of Collective Arts Network Journal profiles a few of the national and international Madison Residency artists, sharing their experience of our city and region and how it has informed their FRONT projects:

You can learn more about the 6 local Madison Residency artists and their work here. Stay tuned for FRONT updates as we approach the opening of the exhibition, and visit FRONTart.org for more details!
